- Dubrovnik Card - Pick up at one of the Tourist Board Offices. Valid for 3 days from the moment of activation. You'll get free entrance to 6 museums, 2 galleries and the city walls, 6 free rides on public transportation, a guide book, etc.
- City Walls - Arrive early. It gets very hot. *Drink a lot of water* There are places to stop for a moment, but very few places to stop with shade.
- Old Town - Enter the Old Town via Pile Gate and you can spot a gargoyle protruding from the wall near the ground. Try standing on it for good luck!
- Fountain - Splash water on your face and fill up your bottle from the
- Dubrovnik Cable Car up Mt Srd - Can't miss views of Dubrovnik Old Town and restaurant at the top.
- Taxi Boat to Lokrum Island - See ruins and film location for Game of Thrones. Find a spot to swim!
- Uvala Lapad Beach - Great for family-friendly swimming and fun! Buy wristbands for inflatable island and water sports.
- Cave Bar More - Seaside restaurant and bar. Go inside and have a cocktail in the cave bar!

I recommend staying near/in Dubrovnik and Split using Uber to get around.
To get from Dubrovnik to Split, we rented a car and had no problem driving the highway and stopping along the way. We divided the two larger cities with a stay in Korcula for a few nights, which I HIGHLY recommend.
Wineries
Croatia is dotted with numerous wineries, from larger estates to those adjacent to the family home. It's fun to stop at the ones you just happen to see a small sign for along the way.

- We booked ferries at each office knowing we may not get the first ferry out. Explore the town where the ferry office is while waiting. Get into the car line early!

Dubrovnik
- Perfect location - walking distance to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, etc. The owners are wonderful and there are 50 marble and bronze sculptures throughout the grounds!
- The bus stop to "Old Town" is only 20 meters from the house, and takes 15 minutes to get there.
